My May Glymm Box showed up today in the mail, my very first one. I was so impressed at how fast it got here from Montreal.
After the intial opening of the parcell, I was thrilled, Glymm is going green!

They put everything in a lovely little cosmetic bag! I love it, what a brilliant idea.
I was thrilled with all of the contents of the Glymm Bag, I was super excited for my first box and I wasn’t dissapointed.

In the box was:

CK one, Shock samples, one for him and one her. My husband was thrilled with the little sample, he commented that he liked the scent as it is light and that it would be perfect for summer time.

The next product in the Glymm bag was a sample of “Coola Mineral Matte Cucumber Face Sunscreen Spf 30″, an organic product.

The following product was, NuMe Hydro Punch Hydrating Conditioner.

Following that, was a full size sample of Cargo’s Eyeliner, “High Pigment Pencil”, this has an amazing sparkle blended right in. Excited to try this out!

The Editors pick in the Glymm bag was a lovely sample of “Caudalie Gentle Buffing Creme”

Then two small samples that are to be used together, Caudalie “Vinosource SOS thirst-Qunching Serum and Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet”

All-in-all I love my first Glymm Box, and I can’t wait for next months sample selection.

Panty by Post Review

I signed up for Loose Button’s Luxe Box, and with a bit of consfusion missed out on the April’s box. I did do the First in Line program that they offer and had chosen the ‘panty’ option, a panty by post tryout! I was so excited for this, and then so bummed that Loose Button’s website was undergoing severe problems and I would miss out on this amazing product.

On facebook, Panty by Post had left a photo post about their shipment and I just commented how I was going to miss out on the trial, but how lovely they looked.

Guess what? They decided to send me a free pair, I was so excited. What a great company!

Yesterday it arrived in the mail.

The package arrived in a cute little box. I love the branding and logo they’ve set for themselves. Chic, simple and lovely.

I love the grey, with red detail. “A pretty panty mailed monthly”.

The panty was packed in a cute pink and black polkadot tissue paper, again these little touches are simply divine!

I was so excited when I opened the package as it was a complete surprise what style and color these were going to be. My favourite colour is purple and when I saw the panties were purple I was thrilled

They feel so smooth and look so cute.

I love the black lace details.

The lovely little bow.

I love this company, and would highly reccomend them. The service would make a lovely valentines gift for your sweetie, or extravigant mothers day gift!

Julep Maven Box, April Bombshell Intro

In my internet searches for loveable nail polish, I discovered Julep.com. A company that makes their own couture nail and beauty products. When parusing their website I found that they had a program called “Julep Maven“, where for 19.99 a month, the company will send you a box of their products, not just samples but full size products.

I researched online and found some bloggers that swear by the polishes and yummy colours. I also found a coupon code to recieve the box for 0.01. Being on maternity leave, I can’t beat that price ;o)

I signed up, and used my code and today, my 1 cent box arrived!

Inside the box, there was a card explaining that my box is the ‘hand picked’ introductory Bombshell box. Upon signing up for the box, I answered a bunch of preferences and they classified me within their Bombshell beauty product category. I have to agree with them, I love the colours they picked.

The box was so neatly packaged and a lovely welcome note for me. I love the little julep.com nail buff they put in, a nice surprise!

The first products I unwrap are the two nail polishes they sent. I just love the colours, the orangy colour is called Natasha, and the sparkling gold colour is called Oscar. Oh how divine!

I can’t wait to try these colours out. The only odd thing was that the bottles were scuffed a little and my Natasha bottle had some sticky reside, which I’m assuming is from a sticker of some sort.

The last product in the box, is a full size bottle of Glycolic Hand Scrub. It smells amazing! I’ve never used a scrub on my hands so this will be nice to try out.

Being a designer and artist, I love the branding this company has. Their packaging is clever and chic.

I love my first box of the Julep Maven program, so we’ll see what’s up for next month. I’ll do usage reviews on the products after I use them of course.

China Glaze, Crackle Glaze

I recently won a draw from a local salon, Hair Society, see the post here.
In that package was a bottle of China Glaze, Crackle Glaze ‘Platinum Pieces’.

I couldn’t wait to try it out! Two nights ago, after I put my baby girl to sleep, I soaked my nails and prepped them for the crackle.

I followed the instructions from the tag on the bottle, I put a coat of red from another brand and let it dry completely.
I then brushed on the China Glaze, Crackle Glaze ‘Platinum Pieces’, and waited. It was so cool to watch the wet polish actually crackle as it dried!
The polish did what it said and I let it dry completely and put on a top coat.
I love the look this produced and actually went out and bought some China Glaze colours, a product I never owned previously to winning this draw.

Hair Society Guelph, Draw Win Product Review

I entered local business Hair Society’s recent facebook page contest for a chance to win a basket of beauty products by sharing the post, and page on my facebook and liking their facebook business page.
