    You did what to a wild bear? Shameful.

      @Begging Bear

      I did! It was the summer I worked at the Sportsman’s Inn, Killarney Ont. I was in between my first and second year of college. A group of us were out for a ride down the channel and out to the rocks, and there was a bear crossing and we were checking to make sure he/she was okay. I leaned over and touched his fur on his bottom side as he swam. I was young, and stupid and would never ever do this today. We probably terrified the poor soul. He kept swimming and made his way to the shore and into the forest. It was quite the experience, quiet and serine but again I would never want to do this again, I can’t imagine the stress we caused him/her.
